Responsibilities
- Lead Architectural Vision: Define the technical roadmap and architectural standards for the 2026 AI product suite, ensuring scalability and future-proofing.
- Research & Development: Spearhead R&D efforts in generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and reinforcement learning to stay ahead of industry trends.
- System Design: Design and optimize complex distributed systems and neural network architectures capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing team of ML engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance, latency, and throughput.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Apache Spark).
- Frameworks: Proven experience designing and deploying production-ready LLMs and computer vision systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous, high-stakes engineering challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.
