Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Leadership: Define and execute the technical vision for the company's 2026 AI strategy, aligning engineering capabilities with business goals.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, distributed, and secure AI architectures that support high-volume inference and training workloads.
- Technology Evaluation: Research, prototype, and evaluate emerging AI technologies (e.g., Multimodal LLMs, Quantum-ready algorithms) to determine feasibility for integration.
- Team Mentorship: Lead a team of senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate complex requirements into technical blueprints.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the optimization of model latency and resource utilization to ensure seamless user experiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural or leadership role focusing on AI/ML systems.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX) and distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Spark).
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of defining long-term technical roadmaps and navigating ambiguity in rapidly evolving tech landscapes.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on designing scalable solutions for future growth.
