Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable neural network architectures optimized for quantum processing units (QPUs).
- Develop intuitive, high-fidelity user interfaces for complex quantum data visualization and manipulation.
- Collaborate with quantum physicists and data scientists to translate theoretical models into functional code.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Optimize algorithmic efficiency to reduce quantum decoherence impact in real-time applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing hardware and software stacks.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, with a focus on AI, Quantum Mechanics, or Computational Theory.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in AI/ML or quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil).
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust, with experience in high-performance computing environments.
- Strong understanding of deep learning principles and their application to quantum annealing or gate-based models.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment and deliver production-ready solutions under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
