What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Architect and design high-availability, distributed quantum computing systems tailored for AI workloads.
- Lead the technical roadmap for Project 2026, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability with legacy cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with quantum physicists to translate theoretical algorithms into efficient software implementations.
- Establish best practices for code review, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Mentor senior and junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and optimization of neural network models running on hybrid quantum hardware.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Machine Learning.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead architect role.
- Deep expertise in Python, C++, and Rust, with practical experience in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale AI models and managing massive datasets.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
