Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Architect who thrives in ambiguity and possesses a deep understanding of microservices, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems. You will bridge the gap between technical feasibility and business requirements, ensuring the v2026 roadmap is delivered on time and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement the core infrastructure for the v2026 release, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- System Optimization: Analyze current system bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions to improve performance metrics by over 40%.
- Technical Strategy: Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for the engineering team working on the 2026 roadmap.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX designers, and engineering leads to translate business requirements into technical blueprints.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in languages such as Go, Rust, or Python, and frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing complex, scalable distributed systems and handling high traffic loads.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a focus on rapid iteration and delivery.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
