Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive trends through 2026+ in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives across Fortune 500 companies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with strategic recommendations for board-level decision-making
- Facilitate cross-industry symposia with thought leaders from MIT, Stanford, and World Economic Forum
- Design and implement innovation sprints translating foresight into MVP prototypes
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through keynotes and whitepapers
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of delivering C-level strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends including AGI, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional storytelling ability translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Certification in scenario planning or horizon scanning methodologies preferred
- Prior experience with Fortune 500 clients in tech, finance, or healthcare sectors
