Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, marketing, and R&D teams to embed future-ready principles into product roadmaps
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, climate tech)
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts for intelligence gathering
- Design and implement early-warning systems for disruptive threats and opportunities in 2026+ markets
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for AI and automation adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors and investor stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record of developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in futures methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, cross-impact analysis)
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trends: quantum computing, AGI, biotech, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills with C-suite experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Palisade Decision Tools, Foresight Platform)
