Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic scenario-planning frameworks for 3-10 year horizons
- Collaborate with executive leadership to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Present compelling future narratives to C-suite, investors, and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and white papers
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development and innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic plans
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published author or thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and global stakeholder networks
