Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI autonomy, biometric interfaces, and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping 2026-viable solutions (e.g., neural-augmented interfaces, decentralized energy grids)
- Conduct horizon scanning via patent analysis, academic research, and geopolitical trend forecasting
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on emerging tech disruptions
- Secure partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and private aerospace innovators for collaborative R&D
- Author quarterly whitepapers on 2026 technology adoption trajectories
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies with 8+ years of applied research
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging tech (3+ products launched)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Security clearance eligibility (DOD/NASA projects)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, PESTLE analysis)
