Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology foresight frameworks through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum computing, AI, and biotech
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Advocate for ethical innovation principles in next-gen technology development
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and policy forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of publishing industry foresight reports or academic papers
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Global network connections in Silicon Valley, EU tech hubs, and Asian innovation centers
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible impact from foresight-to-execution initiatives
