Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives mapping 2026 technology trends in AI, biotech, and clean energy
- Develop strategic roadmaps for commercializing breakthrough innovations with $100M+ market potential
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives, investors, and government bodies
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with dedicated R&D teams and $5M+ annual budgets
- Establish partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global research institutions
- Author industry-defining whitepapers on future workforce and societal impacts
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurology with 10+ years of R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or climate tech modeling
- Published author in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE Spectrum)
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture capital >$50M
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Public speaking at global forums (Web Summit, Davos, or TED)
