Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI-human symbiosis and ethical automation frameworks
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen interfaces (BCI, AR/VR, haptics)
- Present findings to C-suite and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Author thought leadership papers on the sociotechnical implications of emerging tech
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent domain expertise
- 10+ years in technology foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation strategy
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) on emerging tech
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of launching at least one breakthrough technology product
- Deep understanding of ethical AI, climate tech, and neurotechnology landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking ability
