Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce high-impact future state reports and visualizations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and innovation pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs to capture emerging signals
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Nexus Horizons as the future authority
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data modeling and predictive analytics
- Mentor junior futurists to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and trend impact assessment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, Palisade DecisionTools)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation domains
- Experience leading global remote teams across diverse cultural contexts
