Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map 2026 technology adoption scenarios and market disruptions
- Develop quantitative foresight models using AI-driven trend analysis and predictive analytics
- Author executive-level strategic briefings on emerging paradigms (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Establish global thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry panels
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining cutting-edge expertise in exponential technologies
- Drive scenario planning for geopolitical, environmental, and socioeconomic variables affecting 2026 landscapes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend impact analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, nanotech, blockchain) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar institution)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
