Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market disruptions using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Produce executive-level strategic roadmaps with quantifiable impact assessments
- Facilitate cross-industry symposia with Fortune 500 partners on future-of-work evolution
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon as the definitive voice on 2026 transformations
- Lead innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining cutting-edge research credentials
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent technical field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing foresight methodologies for Fortune 500 clients
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, climate tech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling executive narratives
- Published thought leadership in top-tier foresight or innovation publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-uncertainty environments
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic frameworks implemented with measurable ROI
