Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ strategic positioning
- Develop and present future scenario narratives to C-suite executives and board members
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing innovation pipelines aligned with long-term vision
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Integrate futures methodologies into corporate planning processes
- Communicate complex concepts through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFK, APF) preferred
