Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Facilitate executive workshops and scenario-planning sessions to build organizational foresight capabilities
- Establish and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions, startups, and global innovation ecosystems
- Translate complex futures insights into product development frameworks and go-to-market strategies
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven visualizations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in applying futures thinking to daily innovation processes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech experience
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, advanced materials) and societal impact assessment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful innovation roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
