- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic trends, and geopolitical shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience in volatile future environments
- Produce strategic whitepapers and trend briefings for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future-focused innovation pipelines
- Design and facilitate stakeholder workshops on future readiness and adaptation strategies
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and forecast industry disruption timelines
- Quantify future market opportunities through data-driven foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and qualitative research methods
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal implications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or foresight certification program)
