Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech domains
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder sessions to build consensus on future strategies
- Manage cross-functional R&D initiatives and prototype development for 2026+ market entry
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications and industry forecasts on emerging technologies
- Lead scenario planning for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Web3, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities with data-driven decision-making
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M and cross-functional teams of 20+
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, Futures Studies, Engineering, or equivalent)
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major media platforms
