Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps with measurable ROI for emerging tech domains
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Champion experimental projects in AI ethics, quantum applications, or sustainable tech
- Build and lead a dedicated innovation lab with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Present findings to investors and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor emerging futurists and establish industry thought leadership frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology adoption curves, and disruption analysis
- Strong quantitative modeling skills with proficiency in Python/R for trend forecasting
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience scaling innovation teams from concept to market execution
