In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to identify paradigm shifts in AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems. You'll translate complex future scenarios into actionable blueprints while fostering a culture of anticipatory leadership.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to create 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Develop scenario-planning models for market evolution, regulatory shifts, and consumer behavior changes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions
- Present future outlooks to executive leadership and board members with data-driven narratives
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author white papers on emerging technologies and their societal impacts
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario analyses and trend reports
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning tools and data visualization platforms
- Track record of implementing future insights into tangible business outcomes
