Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying disruptive technologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating blockchain and IoT frameworks
- Design ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Present strategic foresight insights at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES)
- Oversee $15M R&D portfolio allocation for 2026 breakthrough projects
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on space colonization and defense innovation
- Champion diversity and inclusion in future technology development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record scaling exponential technologies from concept to market
- Deep understanding of Web3.0, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Certification in Systems Thinking (e.g., MIT Sloan)
- Experience with global policy development for emerging technologies
