Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with C-suite priorities and investor expectations
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with engineers, designers, and ethicists
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for board-level decision-making
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with measurable ROI outcomes
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Strong executive presentation skills with Fortune 500 experience
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
