Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 innovation strategy framework, identifying emerging trends across AI, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, translating future projections into actionable roadmaps
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts with 3-5 year market horizons
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives, tracking ROI and adoption rates of future-focused solutions
- Present strategic foresight findings to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide culture of anticipatory thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching successful products/services with 3+ year development cycles
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario-planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, books, or keynotes)
