Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies impacting 2026 markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise resilience and innovation
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, biotech, decentralized systems)
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic trends affecting long-term technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists through structured knowledge transfer programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology disruption
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
