Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives across global enterprises
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with cross-functional teams
- Author forward-looking white papers and trend reports published in industry journals
- Integrate futures thinking into product roadmaps and R&D pipelines
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify emerging investment opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools like Kumu or Constella
