Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to develop prototypical solutions for emerging market opportunities
- Establish quantitative/qualitative metrics to track technological adoption curves and disruptor emergence
- Produce executive-ready future-state briefings and strategic roadmaps for Board and stakeholder audiences
- Curate external partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and emerging tech incubators
- Develop AI-augmented forecasting tools to accelerate pattern recognition in complex systems
- Champion organizational culture of experimental innovation through hackathons and innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative/qualitative field
- Proven track record of implementing strategic initiatives derived from futures research
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (white papers, journals)
