Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, policy, and cultural domains to identify 2026+ disruptors
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for enterprise-wide decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive-level briefings and thought leadership content on emerging paradigm shifts
- Establish cross-functional futurist councils to embed foresight capabilities across organizational units
- Quantify future opportunities through predictive modeling and risk assessment methodologies
- Represent the company at global forums on future-focused topics including AI ethics, climate tech, and neuro-interfaces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal transformation trends
- Experience translating foresight insights into executable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex futures into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
