Responsibilities
- Anticipate global technological, economic, and societal shifts through systematic horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop long-term strategic frameworks aligned with 2026+ market trajectories and organizational objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive innovations and regulatory changes
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate future-focused insights into innovation pipelines
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain thought leadership through published research and industry speaking engagements
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario modeling, and systemic thinking
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or quantum computing domains preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects or published research
