Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, sociocultural shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ trends
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare organizational resilience against future disruptions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated societal challenges
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused research framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend-tracking platforms
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (portfolio required)
- Experience working with Fortune 500 clients in tech, healthcare, or energy sectors
