Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework incorporating emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and demographic trends
- Produce scenario analyses and trend reports for executive decision-making, quantifying potential business impacts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and innovation pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and think tanks
- Create compelling visualizations of future states to inspire organizational alignment
- Monitor and analyze signals of change across 15+ technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors annually
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology publications
