Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise-level strategic decision-making
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports influencing R&D investments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product roadmaps
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout emerging startups and IP opportunities
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and futurist summits
- Maintain proprietary trend database with predictive analytics capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or technology innovation roles
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports or thought leadership in 2020s
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and predictive modeling
- Mastery of emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA from top-tier institution
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, APF)
