Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities through 2026+
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks, scenario plans, and innovation roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to translate future insights into actionable product development pipelines
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder presentations on future-state implications
- Establish quantitative/qualitative metrics for tracking adoption curves and disruption vectors
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, TED-style talks) positioning our brand as a future authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots and market disruption
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused strategies with measurable outcomes
- Ability to synthesize complex information into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
