Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging tech (quantum, AI, bio-convergence) into enterprise solutions
- Produce evidence-based future scenarios for C-suite decision-making
- Champion cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic impact and adaptability
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture organization-wide
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFM preferred)
- Experience scaling innovation in enterprise environments
