Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Produce high-impact futurist reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry think tanks
- Translate future trends into product development priorities and market entry strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and champion foresight methodologies across the organization
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and societal disruptors with predictive analytics tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong background in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or strategic foresight
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-oriented projects with measurable outcomes
