Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations translating complex data into executive insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to capture bleeding-edge innovations
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies through proof-of-concept initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of future-conscious decision-making
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles within tech/biotech sectors
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
