Responsibilities
- Architect Hybrid Systems: Design and implement scalable software architectures that integrate classical AI models with emerging quantum processors and neuromorphic chips.
- Algorithm Optimization: Refine quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE) to solve complex optimization problems for our enterprise clients.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct rigorous research on post-quantum cryptographic protocols and their integration into modern AI pipelines.
- Hardware-Software Co-Design: Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software for specific quantum hardware constraints and error correction protocols.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior developers and data scientists in adopting cutting-edge quantum computing methodologies.
- Technical Roadmap: Define the technical strategy for the company's transition toward 2026-era computing standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software architecture, with at least 2 years specifically focused on quantum computing or high-performance computing (HPC).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and TensorFlow/PyTorch. Hands-on experience with quantum computing SDKs such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Amazon Braket.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of quantum mechanics fundamentals, linear algebra, and probability theory applied to algorithm design.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, non-trivial engineering problems in high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear strategic roadmaps for stakeholders.
