Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom frameworks
- Optimize quantum circuits for near-term hardware constraints and error mitigation
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical solutions for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum modules into existing systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Mentor junior engineers and publish findings in leading scientific journals
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing communities and standards development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, error correction, and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and Python
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable engineering solutions
