Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science)
- Prototype quantum hardware interfaces using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop patentable quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation tools
- Published research in quantum cryptography or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum SDKs
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (IBM, Rigetti)
- Track record of securing federal research funding
