Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for commercial applications in cryptography, drug discovery, and optimization.
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to design noise-resilient software stacks.
- Implement error mitigation and error correction protocols using current and emerging quantum architectures.
- Conduct rigorous theoretical and empirical analysis of quantum circuit performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical vision of the quantum division.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing hardware and software libraries.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- Proven experience programming in Python and C++ with a strong understanding of quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
