The Role:
You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining the Year 2026 Protocol's smart contracts on Layer 2 solutions. You will work closely with our security auditors and frontend team to ensure a seamless user experience while maintaining the highest security standards.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop secure, gas-optimized smart contracts using Solidity and Rust.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and lead internal security audits.
- Integrate with Layer 2 scaling solutions to maximize transaction throughput.
- Collaborate with the Product team to define technical requirements for new protocol features.
- Implement and monitor automated testing suites to ensure 100% code coverage.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Smart Contract development.
- Deep expertise in Solidity (v0.8+) and familiarity with Rust for cross-chain interoperability.
- Proven track record of deploying production-grade dApps on Ethereum or Polygon.
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and Web3 security best practices.
- Experience with Truffle, Hardhat, or Foundry development environments.
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
