As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the technical direction for our core products, mentor junior developers, and ensure our codebase is robust and maintainable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices, security standards, and performance optimization.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on architecture, coding standards, and problem-solving strategies.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues to ensure system stability and uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with React or Angular for front-end development.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team setting.
