In this role, you will work closely with our senior marketing team to execute SEO strategies, analyze web traffic data, and assist with content optimization. Responsibilities
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough research to identify high-value keywords for our clients in Memphis and Illinois markets.
- Content Optimization: Assist in optimizing website content, meta tags, and headings for search engines.
- Analytics Monitoring: Track website performance using Google Analytics and prepare weekly performance reports.
- Local SEO: Help manage local business listings and ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across directories.
- Link Building: Support outreach efforts to acquire high-quality backlinks for client websites.
- Blog Management: Assist in writing and editing blog posts to improve organic reach and engagement.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- College Credit: Must be able to receive academic credit for this internship.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SEO principles and familiarity with Google Analytics or Search Console is a plus.
- Writing Skills: Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar and editing skills.
- Location: Based in Memphis, TN OR willing to work in a hybrid capacity covering Illinois (Remote/Office mix).
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
