Responsibilities
- Conduct Keyword Research: Identify high-value keywords and trending topics relevant to our local and national client base.
- Content Optimization: Assist in optimizing web pages and blog posts to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor website traffic using Google Analytics and prepare weekly performance reports.
- Social Media Management: Support the social media team by scheduling posts and engaging with our community.
- Competitor Analysis: Research competitor strategies and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Assist with SEO Tools: Use tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs to track backlinks and site health.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms.
- Writing Skills: Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar and copywriting abilities.
- Tools: Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) and MS Office Suite.
- Availability: Must be available for at least 15-20 hours per week, including some evening availability.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive attitude.
