What You'll Do:
- Execute SEO Strategies: Assist the marketing team in optimizing web content for search engines, focusing on keywords relevant to the San Jose market.
- Content Management: Draft and edit blog posts, social media captions, and website copy to maintain brand consistency.
- Social Media Engagement: Manage our weekend social media calendar, engaging with the local community and driving traffic.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track campaign performance using Google Analytics and prepare weekly reports for the team.
- Market Research: Conduct competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities in the California market.
- Collaborative Projects: Work alongside senior marketing professionals to brainstorm innovative campaign ideas.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
- Create engaging social media content and manage weekend posting schedules.
- Analyze website traffic and user behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Write and edit high-quality copy for blogs, newsletters, and web pages.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual assets align with SEO goals.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Must be available to work on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) for the duration of the internship.
- Strong understanding of basic SEO concepts and Google Analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Reliable transportation to our San Jose office.
