Responsibilities
- Keyword Research & Analysis: Assist the SEO team in identifying high-value keywords and trending topics relevant to our clients' industries.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with writers to optimize blog posts, landing pages, and web copy for search engines while maintaining readability.
- Technical SEO Support: Help monitor site health, identify crawl errors, and support basic technical audit tasks using tools like Google Search Console.
- Link Building: Research and outreach to potential partners for guest posting opportunities and backlink acquisition strategies.
- Performance Reporting: Track campaign performance using Google Analytics and prepare weekly reports highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and local market shifts in North Carolina and beyond.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Graduating students welcome).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and basic HTML/CSS is a strong plus.
- Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Soft Skills: Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) is preferred but not required.
- Passion: A genuine interest in digital trends, social media, and search engine algorithms.
