We are a fast-growing tech firm in Phoenix, AZ, looking for a driven SEO Intern to join our team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for students to earn college credit while working on real-world marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
In this role, you will support our SEO specialists in optimizing web content, analyzing traffic data, and improving search engine rankings. You will gain exposure to the latest digital marketing tools and strategies in a professional, high-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement SEO strategies tailored to our clients.
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Assist in on-page optimization, including meta tags, alt text, and content structure.
Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
Help create engaging blog posts and marketing copy that rank well.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive keyword research using tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs.
- Analyze website traffic, bounce rates, and conversion data to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize existing web pages to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
- Assist in link-building campaigns to increase domain authority.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are met.
- Generate weekly performance reports and insights.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in SEO, search engines, and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be eligible for college credit.
