The Role
In this role, you will support our weekend marketing initiatives and help drive organic traffic to our client websites. You will work closely with our senior analysts to implement SEO strategies, ensuring our content ranks high in search engine results.
What You Will Do
- Perform keyword research and analyze search trends specific to the Kansas City market and beyond.
- Assist in on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, alt text, and content structuring.
- Monitor website performance metrics on weekends using Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Create and manage weekly social media content calendars for weekend campaigns.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or Information Technology.
- Available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the internship.
- Familiarity with basic HTML, CSS, or web analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
- Execute weekly SEO audits and keyword gap analysis.
- Write and optimize blog posts and landing page copy.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual assets are SEO-friendly.
- Update and maintain local business listings in Kansas City.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns for weekend newsletters.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program (graduation date between Summer/Fall 2024).
- Basic knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent time management skills for weekend scheduling.
