Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities for our local and national clients.
- Assist in on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, title descriptions, and internal linking strategies.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track traffic and user behavior.
- Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and social media copy.
- Perform regular backlink audits and outreach to improve domain authority.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in digital marketing.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword strategy, and on-page optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and basic HTML/CSS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Available to start immediately for a Summer or Fall internship commitment (12-20 hours/week).
- Self-motivated individual with a passion for digital media and technology.
