Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure software applications using Java and Python
- Participate in agile sprints and contribute to code reviews
- Write unit tests and documentation for new features
- Debug and optimize existing code for performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git and JIRA
- Attend weekly technical training sessions and hackathons
- Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance and deployment processes
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of Java, Python, or C++ programming languages
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (US citizenship required)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Available for 20-40 hours per week during the internship period
